Lost in Art

(Urban Outfitters top, H&M high-waist jeans, Nike high tops)

Museum days are fun, but it requires tons of comfort. Between walking and standing, you need some good soles for the day. If you haven’t yet been to The Broad in LA, you should definitely check it out. It’s a bit small, but it’s free and it carries unique contemporary pieces. One thing we definitely learned, is to arrive an hour before the museum opens to reserve tickets for the infinity room.

P.S. I apologize for the quality of these pictures. My boyfriend is really trying.

The Love for Casual

IMG_9426IMG_9424IMG_9428

(Kate Spade purse, Atid dress, MK watch, Coordinates Collection bracelet)

I love wearing dresses, but my trip to DTLA makes it unrealistic to wear heels. I commend all the ladies who can wear heels for any occasions, but I’m all about running around town. I love the casual feel of this T-shirt midi dress because I can pair it with any sneakers or heels if I feel like it.

What’s your favorite outfit to run around town?

The Everyday Trench

(H&M trench coat and jeans, Zara sweater and shoes, Kate Spade purse)

It’s strange how I bought this trench coat last year and I am barely wearing it this year. Maybe because the weather wasn’t as cold last year. Whatever the reason was, I realized I am so dumb because it was the best thing to come into my life. It keeps me warm and it pairs great with anything. I decided to have a little fun and wear it with my new favorite metallic oxfords. I have to say, I love them both!

Tie Me Up!

IMG_5844IMG_5845IMG_5839IMG_5842

(Zaful top, H&M high-waist jeans, Madewell slippers, Marc Jacob purse)

I got this top from Zaful, an Asian website, I saw on one of Facebook Pop-Up Ads. I was thrilled at how inexpensive and cute the clothes are, so I placed my order immediately. Well let me warn you, the items did not arrive until about 3 weeks later and the product nor quality didn’t really match up to the image. I was quite disappointed with the details and how cheap the fabric was, but I decided to give this top a try anyway. Heck, I already paid for it. It does look really cute for afar, but I wasn’t thrilled about the fit or the construction of the top.

I definitely still have mixed feelings about these online websites we’ve been seeing on Facebook Ads. I might try a different brand and save on trendy items, but I believe it is wise to splurge on investment items that will be around for a long time. The decision is up to you, but I personally don’t think it’s realistic to splurge on every items in your closet.

Is That Really A Bodysuit?

image1image2image3

(Zara bodysuit, Madewell jeans & sandals, Coach backpack)

Bodysuits are great for many reasons, but I love how this one doesn’t necessarily look like a bodysuit and it doesn’t rise up for those uncomfortable occasions. The best part about this particular bodysuit is that it has a snap at the bottom (my other ones do not), which is the smartest idea ever!

Where do you find your perfect bodysuits?

Hello Braless!

(Brandy Melville top, UNIQLO high rise jeans, H&M boots)

I’ve been quite into braless tops lately. It’s definitely a weird feeling at first, but it’s such a liberating and empowering feeling. My purpose of this blog is to dress however you want, free from judgements of others. I know braless tops were the things that freed me from caring about others, what’s yours?

Street Love

I don’t think anyone can argue that street wear have the most comfortable style of clothes. It’s such an easy grab, and you can never be shamed for putting on too much.

The Tough Chick

(Leather jacket- Zara, dress- Atid)

Finding a well fitted leather jacket is an impeccable addition to your wardrobe. Sure, it is a great item to invest in, but I have found many long-lasting leather jackets for under $100. I love leather jackets because you can create so many different looks from them. I chose to pair it with a fitted dress that has a neutral color for a softer look. Don’t be scared to experiment with the items in your wardrobe!

Have a beautiful Sunday!

Simply Chic.

(Ray-Ban Aviators,UNIQLO flannel, H&M jeans, Payless pumps, Thrifted blazer, Hobo clutch)

My lazy days consist of flannels and jeans, but you can dress it up with pumps or a blazer and it completely changes the outfit. I’m always a firm believer that there’s nothing wrong with keeping it simple, and making it classy.

Thank you for all your comments! I loved reading all of them!

Taking a Stroll

(Atid dress, Necklaces thrifted, H&M boots)

I love dressing down outfits so that they can be worn casually. Most people prefer dressing up their wardrobe, but I like to do the opposite because these beautiful dresses always catch my attention but I don’t really have that many occasions to attend. A simple way to dress down your outfit is to layer it with accessories and a pair of boots, it already makes it an effortless look. There are many ways you can re-wear elegant dresses for a casual day out.

Please leave me comments to let me know your thoughts, I always try to respond back! (:
