Pack A Week In A Duffel Bag

It’s summer time! A season full of vacations and trips. However, packing can be a hassle and a challenge for some people, but a few little tricks can go a long way in saving luggage space. A list is also helpful to keep track of what you’ve missed. I bought this one from Target for $1.

What I packed here is suitable for a one week trip: 5 blouses, 2 tank tops, 1 shorts, 2 pair of jeans, 1 skirt, 1 swimsuit, 1 dress, 1 pair of pajamas, 1 sandal, 1 booties, 2 makeup bags, and 1 toiletry bag.

The only trick is to roll every article of clothing you possibly can. IMG_4048IMG_4051

Shoes are a bit challenging, but try to arrange it in the most convenient way. I stuffed my sandals on the side to save more space.

Items like jeans are difficult to roll, so it’s best to pack it along the edges that gives the shape to the luggage.

This is the end result of all my clothes, but I actually have space to fit more clothes in here!

Bags take up a lot of space, so try to pick the ones with flexible fabric so it can stretch around. There’s still more room for all the other knick knacks you may need.

That’s it! One week trip ready in a duffel bag. Try this packing trick with your carry-on and other luggages! Bon Voyage!

Hope you all have a wonderful summer!

  1. Think about wearing your heaviest clothing ( your jeans and your boots) next time to save space in your bags. Usually one pair of jeans is sufficient for a trip too. Pack a capsule wardrobe with pieces that mix and match and you can go for a very long time – especially if you do laundry (either in the sink or sent out).

Love to hear from you...
